Citing the ʿAbbasid caliph al-Qadir billah (AH 381-422 / AD 991-1031), and Fakhr al-Dawla (AH 373-387 / AD 983-997) as overlord, ‘lā ilāha illā Allāh / waḥdahū lā sharīka lahū / al-Qādir billāh / Fakhr al-Dawla / wa Falak al-Umma’ (‘There is no deity but Allah, the One, there is no partner to Him. al-Qadir billah. Fakhr al-Dawla wa Falak al-Umma’ in Arabic); in the margin, ‘bism Allāh ḍuriba hādhā al-dirham bi Kāzirūn sana khams wa thamānīn wa thalātha miʾa’ (‘In the name of Allah. This dirham was struck in Kazirun in the year 385’ in Arabic). Rev.
